What is Cross-play in College Football 27?

Cross-play in EA SPORTS College Football 27 allows players to match up against opponents on the gridiron from another platform in certain online multiplayer modes. This feature brings together the community regardless of which system they own.

Which Platforms Support Cross-play?

Cross-play will be available for players on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (via the EA app, Steam, and Epic Games Store). Cross-play is enabled by default when you start the game for the first time on PS5 or Xbox Series X|S. On Xbox Series X|S, cross-play settings are controlled through the system settings, while on PS5 and PC these settings are found in the in-game settings under the Cross-Play tab.

How to Enable and Opt Out of Cross-play

Cross-play is enabled by default on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. To enable cross-play on PC, access the in-game settings under the Cross-Play tab. To opt out, the method differs by platform: on Xbox Series X|S, you must disable it through the console system settings; on PS5 and PC, you can opt out through the in-game settings. To use cross-play, you need a copy of EA SPORTS College Football 27, all relevant game updates, an EA account, an internet connection, and a platform account on your chosen platform.

Playing with Friends on Other Platforms

To play with friends on other platforms, open the EA connect menu in College Football 27, then navigate to the Player Search tab.
