Crossplay Confirmed Across All Platforms
College Football 27 launched on July 9, 2026, with full crossplay support connecting PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. With the game arriving on PC for the first time in series history — via the EA app, Steam, and Epic Games Store — cross-platform play ensures the community stays unified rather than split across storefronts and consoles.
Supported Modes
Crossplay is available in the game's most popular online modes: Dynasty, Road to the College Football Playoff, College Football Ultimate Team, and Play a Friend, which includes Play Now and Mascot Mashup. The 32-player Online Dynasty supports mixed-platform leagues, so a single league can include PS5, Xbox, and PC users, and the Members tab displays each user's platform.
How to Enable or Opt Out
Crossplay is enabled by default when you first start the game on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. On Xbox, crossplay settings are managed through the console system settings; on PS5 and PC, the options live in the in-game settings under the Cross-Play tab. Opting out removes you from the cross-platform matchmaking pool, while opting in automatically adds you to it for faster matchmaking.
Playing With Friends on Other Platforms
To connect across platforms, open the EA Connect menu inside College Football 27 and go to the Player Search tab. You can find a friend using their EA ID or their platform identifier — an Xbox gamertag, PSN ID, or Steam/Epic identifier. Once connected, invites work in all supported multiplayer modes.
Requirements
Crossplay requires a copy of College Football 27 with all current updates, an active EA account, a stable internet connection, and a platform account on your system of choice. EA also publishes a dedicated Cross-play FAQ covering cross-platform leaderboards, the Ultimate Team Auction House, and matchmaking details. With crossplay in place, platform barriers are no longer a reason to leave a friend out of your dynasty.
