Dynasty Blueprint and AD Expectations
College Football 27 introduces the all-new Dynasty Blueprint, a system that puts you in control of your program’s future. This year, every school brings its own expectations, pressure, and resources, shaped by Athletic Director goals. Each Athletic Director has a unique personality and expects specific outcomes from you as head coach. Navigate these expectations well to earn Dynasty Points, which can be invested in recruiting, NIL, staff, and facilities. The better you meet AD expectations, the more points you accumulate to elevate your program. This system adds a strategic layer to every decision, whether you are building a powerhouse or rebuilding a fallen program.
According to the development team, the goal is to make every Dynasty feel more personal and authentic. The Athletic Director expectations vary by school, and job security depends on how well you meet those goals. Failing to meet expectations could put your job at risk, adding real stakes to each season.
Upgraded Coaching Carousel and Coach Mode
The Coaching Carousel has been upgraded to give you more control over your career. You can now see job openings across the country and pursue the opportunities that fit your path. Whether you start as a coordinator at a small school or jump straight into a head coaching role, the carousel reflects real-world college football coaching dynamics. The game also introduces Coach Mode, allowing you to step into the boots of a coach and make game-day decisions from the sideline.
Coach Abilities and Progression have been expanded, with 13 archetypes to choose from, each offering unique perks and abilities. You can develop your coach over time, unlocking new abilities that affect recruiting, game management, and player development. This depth allows you to tailor your coaching style to the needs of your program.
NIL Strategy, Facilities, and Staff Building
College Football 27 deepens the off-field management with NIL strategy, facilities upgrades, and staff hiring. Dynasty Points can be used to improve your program’s NIL capabilities, attract better recruits, and build state-of-the-art facilities. You can also hire and manage a coaching staff, each member bringing their own strengths. The combination of these elements creates a comprehensive program-building experience that goes beyond wins and losses.
Team Builder and Customization
Team Builder returns with even deeper integration into Dynasty. You can create custom teams, build stadiums, and customize crowds and soundscapes. The Stadium Builder allows you to design your home field, while Crowd Customization and Create Your Soundscape let you set the atmosphere. These features are fully integrated into Dynasty, so your custom team can compete in your own league. Post-game speeches and deeper Road to Glory integration add to the immersive experience.
