Important Notes
- Windows 11 is the minimum OS; the game targets current-generation Windows.
- The minimum GPU (RTX 2060 or equivalent) supports ray tracing, so ray-traced features are expected to work at minimum settings.

Display Settings
EA's PC Deep Dive details display and performance settings. These include resolution, window mode, frame rate cap, VSync, HDR, ray-traced lighting, lighting quality, advanced hair rendering, sideline crowd quality, and texture quality. Frame rate can be capped or uncapped. Ray-traced lighting is demanding but can be used on minimum spec at lower quality, while recommended spec supports medium to high quality. DLSS 3.5 and Frame Generation
DLSS 3.5 with Frame Generation is supported on compatible Nvidia RTX cards. DLSS uses AI upscaling to improve performance, and Frame Generation (available on RTX 40-series and 50-series) can double the frame rate. These features are beneficial for 4K or ray-tracing scenarios.
Gameplay vs Cutscene Quality
Separate quality settings for gameplay and cutscenes allow players to prioritize performance during play and visual quality in cinematics. This is useful for balancing competitive play and presentation.
EA App Requirement
On Steam, College Football 27 requires the EA App to run in the background. The app is installed automatically during setup, and an EA account linked to Steam is needed for authentication.
